Seven “Isa… Isa, wake up!” She was too well trained to fully blackout… Losing consciousness was a bad thing; she almost became vulnerable for the scant few seconds it would have taken for her mind to wash away the sheer shock of what she saw. Isa didn’t care if it was skill or luck that kept her from slamming her head into the hard green floor; she was just glad she hadn’t. The hallway was a white haze and blurred in the middle of her perspective by a large figure in a yellow shirt. It quickly focused into the face of the man she was starting to love and hate in equal quantities. Apparently he had moved her to sit upright against the wall and he was squatting on his haunches in front of her. James wore no face but his own.
